Steve Bannon, the former White House chief strategist during Donald Trump's first presidency, has reignited his feud with Elon Musk, who is now one of the President's most trusted aides.
Specifically, Bannon, who recently pleaded guilty to fraud charges and avoided prison, gave an interview to the British UnHerd, where he called Musk a "parasitic illegal immigrant" .
"Musk is a parasitic illegal immigrant. He wants to impose his terrible experiments and pose as God without any respect for the history, values, and traditions of the country," Bannon said in a comment that is a direct reference to the fact that the Tesla founder, despite being born in South Africa, maintains an aggressive stance against undocumented immigrants entering the US.
Regarding Musk's relationship with the Trump administration, Bannon said that "it's very clear that the president is using him as an armored projectile that inflicts open trauma on the administrative state."
Of course, Steve Bannon's aggressive stance towards Elon Musk is not limited to these statements, as he has also described him as a " really bad person ."
"We should also say that Musk and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs created a kind of Apartheid. These were all progressive Democrats who were allowed to create this 'apartheid' state," Bannon had previously said of Musk.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk has generally avoided Bannon's attacks.
