US President-elect Donald Trump earlier spoke about the war in Ukraine from his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.
Trump said he would talk to Presidents Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy about ending the war in Ukraine, saying he was troubled by images of carnage from the conflict.
"I have to make a deal," Trump said during his speech, writes A2 CNN.
Trump did not give a direct answer when asked if he believed Ukraine should cede territory to Russia as part of a negotiated settlement to the nearly three-year war.
"I mean, there are cities that don't have a building standing, it's a place of ruin," he said.
We remember that during his campaign for the presidential elections in the USA, Trump promised that he could end the war in just two days.
Thousands of people, civilians and soldiers, have lost their lives in the conflict in Ukraine, following Russia's unjustified aggression against its western neighbor. (A2 Televizion)
