The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has confirmed the visit that his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, will make to the United States.
According to foreign media, Trump made the comments during his first cabinet meeting at the White House since his inauguration last month.
As he addressed the audience, Trump quickly returned to the minerals deal with Ukraine and said that Zelenskyy "is coming on Friday, now it's confirmed."
"We will sign an agreement, which will be a very big agreement," he says, writes A2 CNN.
Trump says "taxpayers should not foot the bill" for the money the US has given Ukraine since Russia's invasion, a figure he has claimed is $350 billion, but some international bodies such as the Kiel Institute for the World Economy estimate the figure to be around $120 billion.
"Most importantly, by now, we will make a deal with Russia and Ukraine to stop the killing of people," Trump said, according to A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
