US President Donald Trump has threatened sanctions on anyone who buys Iranian oil.
The warning, communicated in a post on his social network Truth, came after the postponement of planned talks on the Iranian nuclear issue, which were originally scheduled to be held on May 3 in Rome.
"Attention: All purchases of Iranian oil or petrochemicals must cease immediately!" Trump wrote, adding that "any country or person purchasing any quantity from Iran will be immediately subject to secondary sanctions" and will be prohibited from "doing business with the United States of America in any way, shape, or form."
