The Trump administration has defied the court, sending 17 more detainees to El Salvador, despite a US appeals court upholding a ban on deportations of Venezuelans.
In a Hollywood-style video that Central American dictator Nayib Bukele posted on social media, a US military plane is seen landing prisoners accompanied by masked soldiers.
Men are forced to kneel with their hands tied behind their backs, while they are forcibly shaved before being put behind bars.
Last night, in a joint military operation with our allies from the United States, we transferred 17 extremely dangerous criminals linked to Tren de Aragua and MS-13.

All individuals are confirmed murderers and high-profile offenders, including six child rapists.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio described the 17 arrested as "violent criminals" belonging to two gangs, El Salvador's MS-13 and Venezuela's Tren de Aragua, which Washington has designated as foreign terrorist organizations.
"These criminals will no longer terrorize our communities and our citizens," Rubio said, thanking Bukele. Rubio said the prisoners include "murderers and rapists." Bukele went further and said they are "six child rapists." (A2 Televizion)
