Several police officers in Italy were attacked with punches and hard objects during an anti-drug operation in the Quarticciolo neighborhood, on the outskirts of Rome.
It all started when a man of North African origin, along with a woman, were stopped by officers for a search on suspicion of distributing narcotics.
They began resisting by kicking the officers in an attempt to escape.
At that moment, twenty other people surrounded the police, spraying them with pepper spray to free the detained man, who was arrested again a few minutes later.
Meanwhile, an investigation has been launched to find other people involved in this violent incident. (A2 Televizion)
