Rumored as the new Secretary of State, Reuters reveals Grenell's new job,

The name of Richard Grenell, a close advisor to Donald Trump on foreign policy issues, has been rumored for some of the most important positions in the US administration since November 6, when the former President's victory in the presidential election was confirmed.

US media reported that Grenell, who served as US ambassador to Germany and as interim director of National Intelligence during Trump's first term, was being considered for the top position.

He was considered a strong candidate for the role of National Security Advisor or US Secretary of State, but all the tracks have faded and today the possible task that Trump will entrust to him has been revealed.

Grenell will apparently have to settle for the post of US special envoy for Iran. It was the newly elected President who shared a Reuters article on Truth Social, where it is written about his new job, but Trump does not fully confirm this.

"Grenell is a star who will take an important position," writes Trump, still leaving a shadow of doubt.

Grenell is one of the loyalists of the new American president and in the first administration, among other things, he played an important role as the special envoy for the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, even sending at that time Aleksandar Vučić and Abdullah Hoti to the White House to signed agreement before Trump.

Precisely because of this engagement in the Balkans, the possible appointment of Grenell to the post of US Secretary of State, which was then filled by Marco Rubio, was problematic for several countries in the Balkans, such as Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Grenell has never hidden his good relations with Vucic and the Trump family, specifically his daughter, Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, who have recently decided to invest in real estate on the island of Sazan in Albania and the capital Belgrade in Serbia.

Despite the high ambitions, the rumors are already that Grenell will go towards the Middle East, i.e. Iran, instead of Southwest Europe. (A2 Televizion)
