Ukraine accuses Russia of using children to carry out terrorist attacks, here is

Ukraine's main intelligence agency claims that Russia is recruiting Ukrainian teenagers to carry out terrorist attacks.

According to foreign media, Russian intelligence agencies are promising children money on social media for sending packages, which are detonated remotely, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) said.

The SBU said the Russian Federal Security Service used a 15-year-old boy as an "assassin" in Kharkiv and killed a teenager in Ivano-Frankivsk, in western Ukraine. Sky News cannot independently verify these claims.

"The Security Service of Ukraine daily opposes attempts by Russian intelligence agencies to recruit minor Ukrainians and use them as a 'tool' for terrorist attacks," the SBU said, writes A2 CNN.

"Now Russia is conducting a targeted hunt for children on social networks," the SBU further said.

Last week, Lithuanian prosecutors blamed Russia's military intelligence service for the arson attack carried out at an Ikea store in Vilnius in 2024. Two Ukrainian suspects were arrested in connection with the event. (A2 Televizion)
