Ukraine has agreed to an immediate 30-day ceasefire with Russia, news that appears to end a deadly conflict that has been going on for three years.
A statement distributed by the State Department says that Ukraine is ready to accept the US proposal for an immediate ceasefire after today's peace talks in Riyadh.
Meanwhile, the United States will immediately lift the suspension of intelligence sharing and resume security assistance to Ukraine, the statement said.
