Ukraine launched around 300 drones towards Russia overnight. Initially, 100 drones were reported to have been launched, but Moscow's Defense Ministry has now updated that figure to 296.
According to foreign media, which cite the Russian Ministry of Defense, drones were shot down in 13 regions, writes A2 CNN.
Earlier, the Russian ministry said its air defenses destroyed 112 Ukrainian drones in a three-hour attack.
The major Ukrainian attack comes after Russia launched three nights of massive airstrikes in Ukraine over the weekend, killing at least 12 people.
On Sunday, Russia launched its largest drone attack of the three-year war, shooting down 355 drones in Ukraine.
