The coastal city of Malaga and the surrounding area were blanketed in a white layer of hail and snow after a rare storm hit Spain. Footage showed flooded streets and heavy hail in Alhaurín el Grande, Campanillas, Puerto de la Torre and Teatinos.
The Spanish meteorology agency, Aemet, issued warnings for heavy rainfall and hail as Storm Martinho brought snow to the Sierra de las Nieves and Torcal de Antequera National Park, creating a spectacular landscape.
Meanwhile, extreme rainfall has also caused flooding in the southeast of the country. In Murcia, heavy rains flooded streets and shopping centers. Emergency teams rescued several people trapped in cars and boats.
A powerful tornado has hit Alicante, causing extensive damage to a British family's home. Footage shows how strong winds destroyed fences, solar panels and roofs.
The extreme situation has also affected the Canary Islands, where torrential rains have flooded roads and many vehicles have ended up in the sea.
