A Russian state television journalist has been killed by a landmine in the Belgorod region near the border with Ukraine, according to Russian state media.
Pervy Kanal TV said war correspondent Anna Prokofieva, 35, died "in the line of duty", adding that her cameraman Dmitry Volkov was seriously injured.
The broadcaster said the landmine was placed by the Ukrainian military, writes A2 CNN.
The Belgorod region has been under frequent attacks from Ukraine, with unconfirmed reports of ground fighting there.
Earlier this week, Russian authorities said six people were killed in Russian-occupied eastern Ukraine, including three journalists.
According to data provided by the Committee to Protect Journalists, almost 20 media workers have been killed since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. (A2 Televizion)
