Russia reacted with anger to the death of Igor Kirillov in Moscow, in the bomb attack claimed by Ukraine, writes A2 CNN. A spokesman for Moscow's investigative commission said in a statement that the killing had been classified as an act of terrorism and that they were investigating arms and ammunition trafficking linked to the incident.
Konstantin Kosacehv, the head of the commission for foreign relations, stated that he was shocked by what he called an irreversible loss. "The killers will be punished, without any doubt or mercy," he wrote on Telegram.
Andrey Kartapolov, a member of the lower house of the parliament, declared that the people involved in Kirillov's murder would be found and punished. Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for Russia's foreign ministry, said Kirillov had been systematically exposing the West's crimes for years, citing a variety of conspiracy theories, including deadly activities at US biolabs in Ukraine.
