President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer have discussed continued support for Ukraine in a phone call today, writes A2 CNN.
According to foreign media, during the call, the Ukrainian leader thanked the United Kingdom for its commitment to continue training Ukrainian troops next year as part of Operation Interflex.
He stressed that "Ukraine also relies on the United Kingdom to train and equip Ukrainian brigades."
Particular attention was also given to the importance of "strengthening sanctions against Russia", especially its fleet of shadow tankers.
"The head of state emphasized the need to maximize restrictions on the use of Russian tankers.
