Ukrainian investigators are questioning two North Korean soldiers who were captured by Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk region, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday.
"These are two soldiers who, although wounded, survived and were taken to Kiev, where they are talking to SBU [Security Service of Ukraine] investigators," Zelensky said on Telegram.
Zelensky also posted on Telegram pictures of the soldiers he says have been captured.
This is the first time Ukrainian authorities have released footage of captured North Korean soldiers.
Last year, Moscow sent about 11,000 North Korean soldiers to Kursk to support Russian forces in the region, which has been partially under the control of Ukrainian forces since August. /REL/
