Thirty-five Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza on Tuesday morning. Al-Jazeera reported, citing medical sources, that eight of the victims were seeking humanitarian aid. According to Al-Awda Hospital, a Palestinian who was trying to get help was killed by Israeli army fire near the Netzarim corridor in the central Gaza Strip. At least 16 people were killed in Israeli strikes on al-Shati camp, in western Gaza City, according to the Times of Israel, citing Palestinian sources.

Two more children have reportedly died of malnutrition in Gaza, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported. The victims were Yousef Al Safadi, who lived in the north, and Abdul Hamid Al Ghalban from Khan Younis, in the south. According to the agency, which cited the Health Ministry, at least 80 children have died of starvation since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, seven since last Friday alone. A total of 23 children have died of starvation in the past two days. Palestinian authorities estimate that more than 17,000 children in the Strip are currently suffering from acute malnutrition due to lack of food and water, especially in the north, where even the small amount distributed by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which operates only in the center and south, is lacking. Others report a lack of basic food.

"We haven't eaten for five days, we are living under a great injustice, we are living in famine. My brother is a martyr and left children behind and I am a wounded man, I can't go and come. Today, it was a big fight until people took pity on us and gave us a bag of flour. We have no money to use transportation. We have no food available, we have nothing to drink, there is nothing available. The famine is killing people. The distance we are walking is very long. We are tired, extremely tired," Mohammed Jundia, a displaced Palestinian.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees said in recent hours that there are about 6,000 trucks parked in Jordan and Egypt loaded with food, medicine and medical supplies waiting for Israel to give them the green light to enter the Strip. (A2 Televizion)
