"We want dialogue and peace", UNMIK chief concerned about the closure

UNMIK Chief Karolina Zijade has expressed concern over the closure of Serbian institutions in northern Kosovo by the Pristina authorities. Zijade stated that she is concerned about the impact this action may have on the daily lives of individuals, UNMIK said in a statement.

For their part, it is said that these closures have had a direct impact on individuals, especially those who depend on Serbian-funded institutions, including social welfare centers and post offices, writes A2 CNN.

"Zadieh expressed concern about actions against Serbian-funded institutions across Kosovo yesterday, which resulted in the closure of several institutions, including post offices, institution buildings and social welfare centers."

The statement reiterates the call for unresolved issues to be discussed constructively, in open communication and in good faith within the EU-facilitated Dialogue. It calls on all to work towards negotiated and sustainable solutions for the well-being and security of all people in Kosovo, as the only acceptable way forward. (A2 Televizion)
