The European Union expresses great concern about the tensions in the north of Kosovo, as part of the conclusions on the expansion approved in the Council.
There it is confirmed that the imposed measures will not be removed, without fulfilling the conditions of the pact of June 2023, specifically without the return of Kosovo Serbs to the institutions of justice and the police. It is also demanded that the perpetrators of the attack on the Ibër-Lepenc canal be brought to justice. The same call is repeated for the terrorist attack in Banjska and the violence perpetrated by the Serbs against KFOR, the Kosovo police and the media in the North, writes A2.
As for the conclusions for Serbia, the Council of the European Union expresses its regret that this country has not done enough to deliver the perpetrators of the Banjska attack to the hands of Kosovo justice. Criticism of Belgrade was also on the issue of the missing from the war and the treatment of minorities. For both Kosovo and Serbia, the EU demands that they fully implement the normalization agreement and move forward in the dialogue facilitated by Brussels. (A2 Televizion)
