On the occasion of Orthodox Christmas, the Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, went to the house of two families of the Serbian community in the village of Shtërpcë, where he had lunch with them.
This was announced by Sveçla himself through a post on Facebook, where he showed that he was welcomed in the Illic and Filipovic families.
"From these hospitable and hard-working families, we convey our heartfelt congratulations to all our fellow believers who celebrate Orthodox Christmas today according to the Julian calendar. Peace be with your families", the minister wrote next to the photos, where it is noticeable that he is accompanied by Minister Elbert Krasniqi.
Thus, Prime Minister Albin Kurti congratulated the Serbian community on the occasion of Orthodox Christmas. Through a post on social networks, Kurti wishes in Albanian and Serbian.
"Christmas is a time of hope, gratitude and kindness. On this special day, I send my best wishes to all our fellow citizens from the Serbian Orthodox community who are celebrating today. Merry Christmas! I wish you peace and joy", says Kurti. (A2 Televizion)
