Kosovo confirmed the first case of Monkey Pox. The National Institute of Public Health announced through an announcement that a 30-year-old citizen of Kosovo is infected with this virus.
He is being treated at the Infectious Diseases Clinic in Pristina since December 24, after he had returned from West Africa and had symptoms such as fever, fever, changes in the skin, face and hands and itching.
According to the institute, the patient is in a stable state of health.
The institute, it is further said, "has traced all the declared contacts of the infected person and his family members, who have been given recommendations for infection prevention and control measures".
The Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, said later that Kosovo has taken all measures, that additional announcements will be issued soon.
