On Friday, the Kosovo Police closed another institution that operated according to the Serbian system - the Public Enterprise for Urban Planning in North Mitrovica.
The deputy director of the police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, said that the police reacted after receiving information that such an enterprise is located in a residential building near the Technical School in North Mitrovica, and then this information was confirmed as correct.
"After the case prosecutor was contacted, the documents found there were confiscated and several people were interviewed. This case also has to do with falsification of documents", said Elshani, adding that there are no arrests.
The Prime Minister of Serbia, Milosh Vučević, condemned the closure of the institution, accusing the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, of trying to "destabilize the region with unilateral movements" .
"Once again we are seeing the embarrassing scenes of Kurt's helplessness. He continues to terrorize the Serbs and uses his vacations to continue with his terrorist scenario and illegal looting of Serbian properties in the north of Kosovo and Metohija," he wrote on Instagram.
A day earlier, two Serbian public enterprises, which worked according to the Serbian system, were closed: the Directorate for Residential and Business Space and the Directorate for Building Land.
Lista Serbe, the main party of Serbs in Kosovo that has the support of Belgrade, said that the Government of Prime Minister Albin Kurti is continuing with "illegal and escalating actions" in the north of Kosovo. (A2 Televizion)
