Acting Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, has announced that another parallel institution of Serbia that operated in the territory of Kosovo has been closed.
The company "Novo Javno Preduzeće" was a parallel Belgrade institution for water supply and waste, which operated illegally in the municipality of Štrpce.
In a Facebook post, Rizvanolli emphasized that no parallel institution led by Serbia has a place on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and that any attempt at institutional parallelism will fail.
"Following the request of the Public Enterprises Supervision Unit to the Kosovo Police, the activity of this illegal company has been terminated today. The Ministry of Economy will continue to act in the service of all citizens, without distinction, throughout the country," she says.
The Minister thanked the Kosovo Police for their cooperation and requested immediate investigations by the Prosecution regarding the potential damages and benefits caused by the company in question through its illegal activity. (A2 Televizion)
