Announcing historic agreement, Macedonia begins meetings in the US

Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, along with KSF General Bashkim Jashari, are staying for a visit to the USA.

The Macedonian announced a meeting they had at the Department of Defense with Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense David Baker, a moment he described as "the highlight of the visit."

Although during an interview in Kosovo, the Macedonian had warned of a historic agreement that would be signed in the US, he today announced that there had been discussions on the possibilities of developing the defense industry through joint programs and projects, for which "the principles of cooperation have been agreed upon."

The Macedonian, who is being accompanied on this visit by KSF General Bashkim Jashari, said that they are committed to successfully completing the third phase of the KSF Transition Plan. (A2 Televizion)
