Kosovo Police in cooperation with Kosovo Customs have seized commercial goods smuggled from Serbia.
According to the KP announcement, in the late hours on the Gjilan-Prishtina highway, they stopped a truck with local license plates where they encountered these smuggled goods, reports KosovaPress.
"The Kosovo Police, namely the units of the East Task Force in cooperation with the Kosovo Customs, in the implementation of tasks and the fight against smuggling, have intensified tactical controls and operations on the ground in the border zone of the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, in the area bordering the municipality of Kamenica and Gjilan. On 20.12.24, the above-mentioned units in the late hours on the Gjilan-Prishtina highway have stopped a truck with local license plates and driver MS, aged 40 from Lipjani", the Police announcement states.
"During the control of the truck, commercial goods smuggled from Serbia were encountered, where for the same goods there were several invoices issued by the country of origin of the goods. The goods have been seized and sent to the customs terminal for further processing of the case by the Kosovo Customs", the notification further states. Kosovapress (A2 Televizion)
