The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has welcomed the company of quality internet services Starlink to Kosovo.
"Welcome to Kosovo", Osmani wrote on the X platform, tagging the company Starlink and the innovator Elon Musk.
Starlink, the satellite internet platform of Starlink Services, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elon Musk's American aerospace company SpaceX, already operates in Kosovo.
This was confirmed by the billionaire himself through a post on X the other day.
"Starlink's high-speed and low-latency Internet is now available in Kosovo as well!".
SpaceX launched its first test Starlink satellites into Earth orbit in 2018 and the first operational satellites in 2019. Since then SpaceX has launched more than 5,000 Starlink satellites from Florida and California using its Falcon rockets.
In October, the Regulatory Authority for Electronic and Postal Communications in Kosovo (ARKEP) said that it has authorized the American company Starlink to provide internet access in every part of Kosovo.
