The chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia met today in Brussels to discuss the implementation of the agreements reached between the two countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, and the head of the Serbian delegation, Petar Petkovic, held separate meetings with the European Union envoy for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
Initially it was said that a tripartite meeting could be held if there was a will, but in the end it did not take place. Bislimi declared on Wednesday that the November 16 meeting is a continuation of the one that took place on October 26 with the leaders of Germany, France, Italy and the European bloc.
According to European sources, the agenda of the meetings included the discussion on the new proposal on the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo, but also on other steps in the implementation of the obligations arising from the Agreement for the normalization of relations.
