Four people have been arrested in Pristina as part of the police operation codenamed 'Starti', which led to the discovery and seizure of 25 kg of marijuana.
The police, in coordination with the Serious Crimes Prosecution, have carried out four checks in different locations in Pristina.
"During the search, 27 packages, suspected to be marijuana weighing 25 kg 200 gr., were found and seized, a car, two rifles, two revolvers, seven cartridges of different calibers, six mobile phones and 350 euros. It is suspected that the narcotics were intended for the local market. The police have arrested: BM, (year of birth 1981, Kosovar male), LK, (year of birth 1979, Kosovar male), MK, (year of birth 1979, Kosovar male) and FH, (year of birth 1991, Kosovar male)," the police announced.
The suspects were interviewed in the presence of the defense attorney and were charged with "unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances", as well as "unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons".
By decision of the prosecutor, they were remanded in custody for up to 48 hours. (A2 Televizion)
