A serious incident was recorded at the "8 Marsi" school in Peja, where a student was stabbed by a peer.
The police arrested the suspected minor, who is also a student of this school, and sent him to custody for 48 hours.
The spokesperson of the Peja Police, Fadil Gashi, said that the incident happened around 08:30, when the school staff informed the police about the incident.
"The police went to the scene, arrested the suspect and the victim was sent to the emergency room for medical treatment. Two witnesses were taken to the police station and interviewed. The sharp tool - the knife with which the crime is suspected to have been committed - was confiscated. The State Prosecutor has set the detention measure of 48 hours for the suspect", explained Gashi.
According to the police, the minor is accused of causing "slight bodily injury" and "unauthorized possession and control of weapons." Meanwhile, investigations are continuing to clarify the full circumstances of the event. (A2 Televizion)
