Numerous citizens, including the Speaker of the Parliament, Glauk Konjufca, ministers and MPs, gathered to bid farewell to Ideal Rama, Ramë Mehmetaj and Veton Morina.
"This is a difficult day for each of us, perhaps one of the hardest days we have experienced recently. But there is no harder day for the family. Ideali, Rama and Vetoni, three young boys, three angels we are sending to eternity, but these belong to God, these belong to heaven," said the mayor of Gjakova, Ardian Gjini.
The classmates of the 13 and 15-year-olds also expressed their sadness.
"Many fragments of our lives are also connected to their lives. They are part of our shared memories, always smiling, kind, ambitious, loving and above all, polite," said Ledion Humaj, a classmate of the deceased.
The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjakova, together with the Kosovo Police, are investigating the case, as the circumstances surrounding the collapse that claimed the lives of the three young people are still unknown. (A2 Televizion)
