A2 CNN has secured a video from the tragedy in Gjakova, where 3 teenagers lost their lives as a result of the collapse of a building. In the video secured by A2 CNN, in the right-hand corner of the video, at around 16:02, the three teenagers are seen playing near the building and a few minutes later the building collapses.
Three teenagers aged 13 and 15; Ideal Ramaj, Ramë Mehmetaj and Veton Morina lost their lives as a result of the collapse of their house in the village of Jabllanicë, Gjakova. The house was uninhabited.
"On February 1, 2025, at around 10:50 p.m., we were notified that a slab of an uninhabited house collapsed in the village of Jabllanicë, trapping three children. The necessary police units, as well as emergency teams, including ambulances and firefighters, have arrived at the scene. Medical personnel have confirmed the death of the victims at the scene. The state prosecutor has also been notified regarding the case, in coordination with whom the necessary investigative actions are currently being undertaken," the Gjakova police announced earlier.
The Mayor of Gjakova, Ardian Gjini, expressed shock at the news of the loss of life of three children.
"There are no words to express the pain! Let's do everything we can to be with the families in these difficult moments! May the angels of heaven rest in peace!" he said. (A2 Televizion)
