Kosovo Liberation Army veteran Naser Shala has passed away.
The news was announced by the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, through a post on social networks.
Haradinaj, who also published a photo of Shala, wrote next to it that Naser was a fighter from the very beginning and always ready to sacrifice for the homeland.
He also adds that the massacre of his family became a motivation and inspiration for many, many fighters of the time, giving the liberation war even more determination, writes A2 CNN.
Condoling his family and comrades for his loss, Haradinaj adds that his example as a warrior and patriot will live on for generations.

KLA veteran Naser Shala has left us. Naser was a fighter from the first hours, always ready for sacrifice whenever the homeland asked for it. The massacre of his family became a motive and inspiration for many, many fighters of the time, giving our liberation war even more determination. His example of a fighter and patriot will live on for generations.
