The United Kingdom Embassy in Kosovo has appreciated the coordination between the KFOR mission and the Kosovo Security Force in the search and rescue operation for the 33-year-old man who went missing in Lake Ujaman in Zubin Potok.
Through a statement, the British Embassy emphasizes that this operation is proof of the KSF's excellent search and rescue capabilities and that cooperation with KFOR is in accordance with agreements between the two institutions.
The French Ambassador to Kosovo has also expressed the full support of the French state for KFOR and its Commander.
"Since its creation, KFOR has played and continues to play an irreplaceable role in guaranteeing security for all. It deserves the respect and gratitude of all actors in the region," wrote Ambassador Olivier Guerot on the 'X' platform.
He also praised the media for reporting accurately on KFOR's role in the efforts to find the body of the missing person in Lake Ujman. The Italian Embassy in Kosovo also reacted to the operation, stressing that KFOR acted within the limits of its mandate, in the face of an unfortunate circumstance that required the team's intervention for humanitarian reasons.
