Serbian revenge, court orders 30 days of detention for Lulzim Halili

Lulzim Halili, the Albanian arrested in Serbia, has been sentenced by the High Court in Belgrade to 30 days in detention.

The court's response states that Halili is suspected of "committing the criminal offense of organizing and inciting the commission of genocide and war crimes," A2 writes.

Lulzim Halili was arrested on July 22 by Serbian authorities about 100 kilometers from Belgrade and was immediately taken into custody at the city's Police Station. Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora said that Serbian authorities had not provided it with any information regarding Halili.

The Ministry had announced that once it is confirmed whether Halili will be subject to pre-trial detention and criminal proceedings will be initiated against him, the Liaison Office will submit an official request for a visit to the Detention Center. (A2 Televizion)
