EU Ambassador to Kosovo, Orav: The new government must meet the people's

The European Union Ambassador to Kosovo, Aivo Orav, has said that the new government must meet the expectations of the people, who aspire to join the EU.

"To achieve this, the new government must work very, very actively. The difficult tasks must be done. The reforms must be implemented," Orav is quoted as saying in X by the European Union Office for Kosovo.

The CEC has counted 99.17 percent of the votes from 2,512 voting centers out of a total of 2,533, as of 19:10, according to which the Vetëvendosje Movement continues to lead in coalition with the Guxo and Alternativa parties with 40.83 percent or 339 thousand 350 votes.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo PDK ranks second with 22.16 percent or 184,040, the Democratic League of Kosovo LDK third with 17.60 percent or 146,147 votes.

AAK-NISMA-Conservators-Intellectuals-Ideal is ranked fourth with 7.46 percent or 61,968 votes. On February 9, the citizens of Kosovo voted to elect their representatives for the next four years. This electoral process was considered democratic and peaceful. (A2 Televizion)
