The Minister of Defense in Pristina, Ejup Macedonci, has said that the Kosovo Security Force has received weapons purchased from the United States of America during the months of September, October and the beginning of November.
He emphasized that the USA never hesitates to cooperate with Kosovo in the purchase of weapons.
"We have continuously received weapons from the USA and are receiving them. The last purchase was in October, before that we had a contingent that arrived during the month of September. We had American army planes that came to Pristina International Airport from where weapons were unloaded and loaded onto KSF trucks.
Normally, these have not been made public by us due to sensitivity", said Maqedonci, writes A2 CNN.
"In no case have we had any hesitation from the US to sell weapons to the KSF, on the contrary, I had the opportunity to visit in December of last year in Washington, where I had meetings with the US Department of State and the US Department of Defense, where in these departments we received extremely great support", said Maqedonci further.
Macedonia has claimed that the methods of purchasing weapons for the Ministry of Defense have already changed. This is because according to him, the methods of purchasing the weapon system are no longer done with intermediaries as before. (A2 Televizion)
