The Serbian list has often been involved in the unrest in northern Kosovo. This fact was announced by the Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, during a conference at the presentation of the report of the Institute for Security and Resilience, writes A2 CNN. Zvečla has said that the ongoing struggle of the Kosovo authorities to pretend sovereignty in the northern part of the country has unmasked the aspirations of Serbia for the territory of Kosovo, and that members of the Serbian List.
"The Serbian List cannot say that it was not involved in the attack on KFOR members, when assistants, drivers, bodyguards, officials of the Serbian List were an active part of the attack, they have been identified and now some of them are on the run", said Sveçla.
He did not mention any names specifically, and until now the justice authorities have not filed any indictments against the senior officials of the Serbian List, although some have been invited for interviews for participating in the protests, writes A2 CNN. He has said that the lack of full extension of local institutions in the northern part in the past, has enabled completely free ground for criminal groups and all kinds of illegal activity.
According to Minister Sveçla, the integration of Serbian parallel structures in Kosovo's institutions, according to the Brussels agreement, has enabled the installation of structures that have reported to Serbia and the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic. "This is evidenced not only by the orchestrated resignation of the Serbian members of the Kosovo Police two years ago, who in police uniform, with the salary of the Kosovo Police, and with the weapons of the police officials have served Serbia's destabilizing policies. We will never say that we have succeeded, that there will be no new attacks, as long as we have an undemocratic Serbia, we have a paramilitary Serbia and its fascist government," he said.
Kosovo authorities have taken a number of actions this year in the north, including banning the Serbian dinar for making cash payments and closing several parallel Serbian institutions for what they say is a pretense of sovereignty. (A2 Televizion)
