The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has described the meeting organized by the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, as an act to resolve the parliamentary crisis following the Constitutional Court's decision.
Fatmir Limaj, chairman of the Social Democratic Initiative, said that the leaders' meeting was more about perspectives on the constitutional decision than about resolving the situation. He urged Vetëvendosje, as the largest party, to secure a majority, and according to him, due to the situation, compromises must be made and a path to a parliamentary majority must be found.
Mimoza Kusari-Lila, chairwoman of Alertenarivë, said that the opposition's claim that secret voting violates the Constitution is incorrect, while the co-chairman of the GUXO List, Faton Peci, said that in the meeting with party leaders there were constructive discussions by several actors and expressed optimism that in the coming weeks there will be an agreement on the constitution of the Assembly.
