The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has shared details from the meeting she held with the Deputy. American Secretary Richard Verma, who is on a tour of the Balkan countries from the 7th.
According to Osman, Verma reconfirmed that Kosovo and the USA will soon finalize the Strategic Dialogue.
"After the proposal I sent to the United States of America, as President of the Republic as early as 2021, then reconfirmed in June 2022 through a verbal note as well as in the meeting with Secretary Blinken in July 2022, as well as after an extraordinary work of our teams over the past years, today in a meeting with the American Deputy Secretary Richard Verma, it was confirmed to me that Kosovo and the USA will soon finalize the Strategic Dialogue.
This is an extraordinary achievement that proves that genuine partnership, based on shared values and interests, always brings results. I thank the Government of the United States of America for this support to the people of Kosovo and I look forward to continuing the intensive cooperation in the interest of Kosovo.
