President Vjosa Osmani, during a meeting today with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense David A. Baker, requested US support for Kosovo's membership in the North Atlantic Alliance.
Osmani said that when the US stands by us, Kosovo is stronger, safer and more developed, KosovaPress reports.
"Kosovo remains committed to deepening cooperation with the US in the field of defense, including the defense industry, as an opportunity with mutual benefits for both countries. Kosovo's membership in NATO is a strategic objective and US support in this process is vital," said Osmani. (A2 Televizion)
