Analyst Selam Shkodra has stated that US President Donald Trump will be the one to finalize Kosovo's independence.
Shkodra made the comments on the 'Debat' show with journalist Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, where he said he believed that Trump would also convince the Serbian side to progress towards recognizing Kosovo.
He also said that he expected many from Kosovo and Serbia to nominate President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
"In addition to Kosovo's institutions, there are other people who care about maintaining relations between Kosovo and the US. These relations are closely linked to each other, because Kosovo is a derivative of the US."
And I think President Trump will be one of the Presidents who will finalize Kosovo's statehood in the international arena, managing to convince the Serbian side to move forward towards recognizing Kosovo's independence.
"And I very much expect President Trump to be nominated by these two countries for the Nobel Prize and I think his commitment will be greater in the coming months," Shkodra said, among other things. (A2 Televizion)
