Albin Kurti was called as a witness in the Special Prosecutor's Office and has no other background. This is how political scientist Makbule Shkodra sees the invitation to appear at the Special Prosecutor's Office in Pristina on December 16 of Prime Minister Kurti. There are several cases that are being investigated by the prosecution."
According to her, the government and the spokesperson should have only given the announcement and not made any other statement, as the impact on the outcome of the 2025 elections was mentioned. Shkodra emphasizes that the Kurti government has made remarks towards the Court's Prosecution, but today it should not have commented.
"For me it is surprising. I don't believe in such things. Institutions perform their duty. Justice is an independent pillar. But the Kurti government has made remarks in the direction of the court's prosecution. Even today they would not have to comment on anything. He has been invited as a witness because of this unnecessary reaction. The spokesperson announced that he was invited only for this and nothing else".
