The diplomatic clash in the White House between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky has raised concerns in Kosovo. Naturally, the question arises: Could Kosovo face a similar fate in its disagreements during the dialogue with Serbia?

Analysts estimate that in a new geostrategic reality, Kosovo must become "more obedient", more flexible and more pragmatic in foreign policy, as the United States is its key ally.

According to them, the current situation is also a consequence of the wrong policies of political leaders in Kosovo that have led to the prolongation of the dialogue.

Political scientist Fitim Mulolli told A2 CNN: "Geostrategic interest relations have been shared for three decades and have been supported by the US both in terms of security and in terms of building democracy in the region and Kosovo. This should be preserved as an asset in the continued restoration of relations by the new government with President Trump's administration."

Professor Dashamir Bërxulli emphasizes that the Kosovo government's starting point for relations with the US should be the letter that US President Donald Trump sent on the occasion of independence, while asserting that the Trump administration's style does not tolerate disagreements.

Meanwhile, the Chief Inspector of the KIA, Burim Ramadani, emphasizes that there is an immediate need to create new institutions, in line with Western foreign policy, while asserting that any future agreement must have guarantees in terms of security for Kosovo.

During his first term as President, Trump 2017-2021, brokered an economic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, but it remains largely unimplemented.  (A2 Televizion)
