Prime Minister Albin Kurti asks the internationals to come out as soon as possible with the conclusions of the investigations and impose sanctions on Serbia for the attack in Banjska.
We must act now and not tomorrow, warns Kurti, who says that two months have been enough to reach conclusions.
According to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Belgrade's punishment is necessary to prevent events like the one on September 24 from happening again.
"The conclusion of the EU, KFOR, EULEX, USA investigations is also necessary on the one hand, but also the sanctions and measures against Serbia on the other hand. We cannot tolerate, endure any repetition similar to that of September 24, as a terrorist and criminal attack, therefore action must be taken today and not tomorrow. For this reason, I call on the international factors to raise the issue, it has been 2 months."
Asked about the statement of the president, Vjosa Osmani, that in the draft statute of the Association proposed by the EU, he has identified some issues that create ambiguity, Kurti said that the draft can be made public by the emissaries, since, as he claimed, it was agreed not to disclose to the public.
He added that Serbia continues to violate the articles of the basic agreement, and is not interested in normalization.
"It belongs to the mediator, the European facilitator to make the draft public. The day after tomorrow will be nine months since we finally agreed on the basic agreement in Brussels, during these nine months, Serbia has violated at least 8 of the 11 articles of the basic agreement. Now it is up to the mediator, the European facilitator to make the draft public... there are various actors who are waiting for me to violate the processes and procedures and this would damage the representation of the Republic of Kosovo. As for me, let them publish the draft statute as well, so that the way will be opened to publish our remarks and criticisms as well."
According to the head of the executive, Serbia has proven that it intends to make the Association of Municipalities with a Serbian Majority against Kosovo and not for the Serbs living in the country.
"If Belgrade had been interested in the Serbs, it would have voted for Kosovo's progress towards membership in the Council of Europe." (A2 Televizion)
