The price of electricity for family subscribers will be reduced to 8.5 Lek per kWh for those who consume less than 700 kWh per month.
This decision was taken after the meeting of the Board of the Electricity Regulatory Entity during today's day, where the government's proposal for reducing the price of energy for family subscribers was examined, writes A2 CNN.
Currently, the price of electricity for family subscribers is 9.5 Lek per kWh without VAT. So the price of electricity is reduced by 1 Lek
Who consumes more than 700 kWh of electricity per month will continue to pay 9.5 Lek for each Kwh which together with VAT amounts to 11.4 Lek
The price reduction will only affect the category of family consumers, excluding other categories such as businesses, budgetary and non-budgetary institutions. There will be no changes for bakeries either, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
