Meteorologist Tanja Porja revealed today on A2 CNN how the atmospheric conditions will be during December, but also in January and February.
Porja said that this December is classic like the Decembers of many years ago, as there has been enough rain and low temperatures during the evenings.
She also added that this winter is expected to be 'wild', as according to her, the coldest months are expected to be January and February, but maybe even March.
"The rains have left the territory. Rains with medium and high intensity that caused problems during yesterday. While today few rains are present, they were during the night. The thermometer has recorded another drop during the day. Maximum temperatures will rise to 13 degrees Celsius.
The past two Decembers have been much warmer than they used to be. There were also rains in December. Because in this decade, the first 5 years have passed with zero rainfall, a rare thing. This December has been very rich with rain.
We have also said in our monthly forecast that this December will have the characteristics of a classic December, very close to the December weather that we remember in our childhood. Middays have made the difference, because the temperatures have been 3-4 degrees higher than the average ones. We expect the real winter in January, February, why not in March as well. So this December is the beginning of winter. A wild January and February are expected," said Porja. (A2 Televizion)
