A family crime was registered at noon this Thursday in Malësi i Madhe, fortunately without victims.
The incident took place in the village of Grizhë, where the man injured his wife. The perpetrator was identified as AZ, 48 years old, who was put in handcuffs.
According to the police, the incident happened for weak motives.
"He hurt his wife with a cutting tool (knife) for weak motives, the 48-year-old man was put in handcuffs.
After receiving the notification, yesterday evening, that a citizen had damaged his wife with a cutting tool, in their apartment in the village of Grizhë, the services of the Malësi e Madhe Police Station organized the work and immediately arrived at the scene, in order to the arrest of this citizen.
As a result, citizen AZ, 48 years old, was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs, who allegedly, for weak motives, injured his 38-year-old wife with a cutting tool (knife), whose life is out of danger.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodra General Jurisdiction, for further actions", the announcement states.
