In the plenary session and the awarding of the "Golden Eagle" awards on Arbëresh day, Prime Minister Edi Rama presented one of the main points that, according to him, will bring even more the union of Arbëresh people with Albania.
Language, said Rama, is one of the main elements, and among the threats coming from outside, it is very necessary to protect it with great fanaticism. Consequently, he said that a special program supported by the government will be implemented to give life to this twinning and to create a bridge of communication between the Arber community and Albania.
"The Albanian language is threatened by impoverishment, by deformations, but imagine how much more difficult it is for the people of Arbëresh and that is why we have decided to give this process, which starts with the signatures that were signed here between Veliaj and the representatives of Arbëresh municipalities that will continue with a twinning of all our municipalities with all Arbëre municipalities, we are more or less approximate numbers and we will build a special program supported by the government to give life to this twinning and to create a bridge communication between the Arbëre community and Albania", said Rama.
