Due to strong coastal winds, the Vlora Sea Port Captaincy has decided to suspend sea navigation of small vessels and fishing vessels for this Thursday.

Through a notice, the Vlora Sea Port Captaincy has announced that winds of 15-20 meters/second and waves of 1.5 to 2 meters in height are expected inside and outside the Vlora Bay.

Meanwhile, the announcement also states that weather improvement is expected to occur in the early hours of this evening, writes A2 CNN.

Based on the forecast for the deteriorating hydrometeorological situation inside and outside the Bay of Vlora, during 17.04.2025 starting from 08:00 on 17.04.2025 in the SOUTH-SOUTHEAST direction at a force of up to bft with wind speeds of up to 15-20m/s and wave heights from 1.50 to 2.00 meters. The use of small floating and fishing vessels with a permit is prohibited starting from the early hours of today.

International sea transport vessels for passengers and vehicles on the Vlora - Brindisi - Vlora line will continue to operate normally according to their respective destinations. The weather is expected to improve in the evening hours today. (A2 Televizion)
