6 entities in Vlora have been identified so far that have had chicken with Salmonella in their premises and have sold it to customers.
These entities have been identified by the controls carried out by the AKU in Vlora. Several markets have also been identified as entities that have had significant quantities of chickens with Salmonella, but there have also been restaurants, which are the last link in the consumption of products for customers.
It is also learned that a considerable amount of chickens with Salmonella has been withdrawn from the city of Vlora so far. But also fast food which are mainly near schools and in the city. It is suspected that the number of markets, restaurants and fast food that have traded or prepared the amount of chicken with Salmonella is even greater.
According to sources, there are suspicions that after the news was made public, many private entities in Vlora have removed all the chicken they had, regardless of whether it was infected with salmonella or not, to avoid the risk. This has diminished the "scandal" by reducing the number of entities identified.
Meanwhile, it is confirmed that controls continue as more and more private entities are identified every day and significant quantities of chicken with salmonella are withdrawn from Vlora.
