The Vlora city waterworks has been out of service for several days. Three of the four pumps are out of service, while only one is operational.
Army forces and civil emergencies have arrived to help, bringing two additional pumps that have been put into operation.
It is learned that civil emergencies will bring two more pumps to avoid possible problems from the expected rainfall in the city.
The water level in the reservoir has increased due to pump failures and the inability of the army pumps to cope due to their lower power capacity.
However, the situation remains problematic due to the malfunction of three pumps, while only one cannot handle the large water flows, risking flooding.
Army and civil emergency forces will continue to remain in Vlora, while the pumps brought by them will remain in operation to manage the crisis that the hydropower sector is experiencing. (A2 Televizion)
